Cooking Class 1: Spring Roll

Have you heard about "Spring Roll"? It is one of the most delicious traditional food of Vietnam. Therefore, in the first lesson of cooking class, LSTer decided to teach interns how to make spring roll.

News:

- The chef Mr. Quan changed to chef assistant with Tam. New main chef: Ms. Phuong

- The dish in the first plan was not "pork spring roll" but "vegetable spring roll" and "mixed fried rice". However, Quan did not know how to do it, so the meal for this class changed into "pork spring roll" and "french fried" or fried potato.

- Eden had team meeting so she could not join the cooking class

There were many people joining the cooking class, and we had 2 members from X-team who were Mieu and Ngoc Anh. Ngoc Anh helped a lot by cleaning out the potato skin and cutting the potato into pieces. Mieu and Hiep had a very important position which was taking photos and filming.
Although it was the first class, interns had chance to experience their cooking skill by involving in the cooking steps. However, they had better improve some of the skills like: slice carrot (carrot was too big), and rolling the spring roll (the spring rolls size were not the same).

In general, we had a very very good meal with spring rolls made by Joe, Maggie, and Stella; and french fried made from Phuong and Ngoc Anh.

Now, let's enjoy with our cooking class 1!!!!
